One Night Only - Rae Spoon

Switch at Gio's & QueerView are proud to bring you a night of super amazing queerness with indie-electronic musician, Rae Spoon & The Super Fun Queer Dance Party!

 

On Friday Feb. 24th, Rae Spoon will be at Gio's for the ONLY Winnipeg show! Doors at 9PM, show at 10PM! Following  Rae's performance there will be a Super Fun Queer Dance Party with some of the best queer DJ's Winnipeg has to offer!

 

Cover is $5.00 - $10.00 on a sliding scale & NO ONE will be turned away due to lack of funds! All proceeds raised this night will go DIRECTLY to help Rae on their cross country tour!

 

Rae has toured extensively over the past ten years in Canada as well as internationally. Through touring, Rae has managed to build a strong grassroots following. Rae was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize in 2008 as well as nominated for two CBC Radio 3 Bucky Awards in 2010.

Gio's Cares is the registered charitable organization of the Oscar Wilde Memorial Society Inc. (Gio's Club Bar). Gio's Cares is administered by a volunteer board of directors & also has a Goodwill Ambassador who works as part of the team. Gio's Cares has no paid staff.
